Hindmarsh Island, South Australia Island magic

It is Tuesday today and my day started with an online meeting at 6.30 am that went for 2 hours. Rained softly most of the day, no wind and mild temperatures. The wattle is in full bloom and is a great burst of colour along the roadsides. Large flock of Cormorants flocked into the channel. What was also noticable was the lack of pelicans. In the last week the barrages have been opened and fresh water has been flowing into the Coorong and out to sea at the Murray mouth, this has bought the birds back.
