PhotoHunt theme for the week beginning 28th July 2012 is ‘Joker’
Only in Australia would you see road signs warning of slowing down for lizards. A local joker has made and erected this sign on the road outside their house.

About the PhotoHunt
The Saturday PhotoHunt is a photography blog “meme” that was started in March 2006
To play, you simply post a photo on your own blog that represents the theme. These are snapshots that you might have taken on a trip, with your family, or in your home. It is important to use only your own photos.
We are not professional photographers . . . although some are. We are bloggers who are having fun with different themes and sharing our photography. You can see more PhotoHunt entries at Whistlestop PhotoHunt and on Facebook
Yup – we have signs for deer, moose, turtles, and frogs around here. I’ve never seen one for lizards though. Great shot for this week’s theme.
Have a great weekend.
I never seen a caution sign for any wild animal although her in North Idaho we don’t have many lizards.
My photo is up and the coffee is on.
I think I have seen a similar lizard warning – or was it frogs – on a back road in Central Califorinia in the US.
That’s really funny! Great take on the theme 😀
That’s funny!
I can’t wait to see what you do with ‘Ooooo’.

Hheheh that makes me laugh what a joker sign…Happy weekend..Mine is up.
I gotta ask… so do any cars slow down for the lizards? ;D
I live in a rural area so wildlife is semi-common crossing the roads. That sign is on a dirt road that is a dead-end to a small cluster of holiday houses and people tend to drive down that road just to go to those houses. That road would get 3? cars a day. We don’t necessarily slow down but we do tend to swerve around them if there are no cars are coming in the opposite direction.
What fun. Great choice for the theme. Happy Weekend!
Hahaha! Great capture for the theme 🙂
