Today started early at 5:30am with a skype chat with Ana and Paulo in Portugal. Today is a Wednesday and the weather was mild. I did my volunteer job at the Goolwa Museum in the afternoon and am continuing to knit baby clothes for my 4th grand-child due in 3 months time. Take 12 photos on the 12th of the month showing your day.

PhotoHunt theme for the week beginning 6th October 2012 is ‘Hand’

I found this weeks topic a challenge, how to make a hand interesting in a picture. Hmmm.

Donut game

Even though the party game was hands-free I got a stray hand in the picture (and chopped off people’s heads), I have no idea whose hand it is.

Cleaning

Rubber cleaning gloves make my hand creepy.

Hand Fatimah geocoin

I am a geocacher and pickup and re-distribute geocoins. This one is in the shape of the Hand of Fatima. I love the scroll work on the geocoin.

Lunch

And lastly to finish my theme on hands I am sure that many of us have pictures of our teenage children using their hand with the one fingered salute. The amount of photos I have of my family that have this mannerism in it makes me wonder if it is a family trait.

PhotoHunt theme for the week beginning 25th August 2012 is ‘Chocolate’

I have a lot of chocolate in my life, the edible kind usually. I love chocolate!

For her 11th birthday Lakita, my grand-daughter (who is now nearly 18, where does the time go!) wanted a ‘Girls Day‘ where female friends and family had a birthday baking day with her.

Chocolate fingers

My best friend Gaelyne prepares to wipe her chocolate fingers on Lakita after rolling some chocolate balls. April (my son’s partner) made a new apron for Lakita, which she is wearing and the girls made heaps of goodies (most of them chocolate). The other family member there that day was my other grand-daughter Samara. These 4 girls just wanna have fun and they did.

Chocolate and lolly pizza

At a family pizza party Samara made her own pizza which was a combination of lollies (sweets/candy for the non-Aust visitors) and chocolate. Looked ‘interesting‘ and was quickly eaten by the children at the party.

Please leave a chocolatey comment and your PhotoHunt link
