Take 12 photos on the 12th of the month showing your day

This is my day on 12th March 2013

It is a Tuesday and it is very hot, over 37C with a warm night. Stayed home all day and did most things early in the morning before it got too hot.

PhotoHunt theme for the week beginning 9th March 2013 is ‘Monochrome’

We tend to associate monochrome as being shades of grey but monochrome definition says:

noun
1.a painting or drawing in different shades of a single color.
2.the art or technique of producing such a painting or drawing.
3.the state or condition of being painted, decorated, etc., in shades of a single color.
adjective
4.being or made in the shades of a single color: a blue monochrome seascape.
5.having the images reproduced in tones of gray: monochrome television.

So this week I have a selection of monochrome pictures that only nature can produce.

BudVibrant green monochrome

Sea Mist 7-8-06Sea mist makes the view very monochromatic

Sunrise 10-7-2007Every shade of orange you can imagine

Sunrise through mist 11-3-06Pale pink misty sunrise

Moonset 10-8-06A full moon setting in the west in the early morning sunrise

About the PhotoHunt

The Saturday PhotoHunt is a photography blog “meme” that was started in March 2006

To play, you simply post a photo on your own blog that represents the theme. These are snapshots that you might have taken on a trip, with your family, or in your home. It is important to use only your own photos.

We are not professional photographers . . . although some are. We are bloggers who are having fun with different themes and sharing our photography. You can see more PhotoHunt entries at Whistlestop PhotoHunt and on Facebook

This is my day on 12th January 2013.

It is a Saturday.  Mild day weatherwise, picked my first ‘big’ crop from my vege garden. The kitchen re-arrangement continues with the old stove finally going and the new gas stove moved into its final place, cupboards and benches and tables all rearranged and the items taken out and sorted and stuff everywhere. Has been chaos in the kitchen area for 2 months now. The end is in sight. This is just my temporary kitchen (last temp kitchen lasted 16 years LOL) because I plan to have new cupboards etc later this year after building work is completed. But it is a start (finally).
